BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 will take place from August 29^th to September 2^nd at BRG Da Nang Golf Resort.

Regarding the 15 places selected by the Vietnam Golf Association, golfers who meet one of the following conditions will acquire the right to participate:

- 05 Vietnamese professional golfers who are in the top 5 on the bonus ranking of VGA Tour 2022.

On the bonus ranking of VGA Tour 2022, Truong Chi Quan is currently leading with 131,250,000 VND in prize money after 2 tournaments, second is Nguyen Huu Quyet with 109,750,000 VND. The third is Nguyen Van Toan and Do Hong Giang is ranked 4^th, although Doan Van Dinh is ranked 8^th on the ranking, but above him are three foreign golfers, so the golfer born in 1982 is the 5^th name in the list of professional golfers.

- 10 amateur golfers:

Amateur golfers are selected according to the following criteria: members of the national golf team (1); top 5 Vietnamese golfers on the world amateur rankings (WAGR) (2); top 3 Vietnam Amateur Open Golf Championship 2022 (3); Champion of U15, U18, U21 league - Men's Event of the National Youth Championship 2022 (4).

According to the above criteria, there are:

1. Nguyen Anh Minh (1, 2, 3, 4)

2. Nguyen Nhat Long (2, 3, 4)

3. Le Khanh Hung (1, 2)

4. Nguyen Dang Minh (1, 2)

5. Nguyen Quang Tri (1)

6. Nguyen Bao Long (1)

7. Do Quang Khanh (2)

8. Jamie Bao Nguyen (3)

9. Dang Quang Anh (4)

Regarding the list of 9/10 amateur golfers being revealed, it is not surprising that Nguyen Anh Minh is the one who meets all 4 criteria. Meanwhile, Nguyen Nhat Long with 3 criteria achieved proves that this golfer is in a pretty good performance.

Notably, all amateur golfers participating in the tournament will be exempt from competition fees, while professional golfers will need to pay a fee of 5 million VND. The Vietnam Golf Association will receive registrations from golfers until the deadline at 5:00 p.m. on August 12^th, 2022. Direct invitations will be sent out if the number of golfers is not reached.

In addition, Vietnam also has 7 slots for representatives of the sponsors.
